Road ride schedule is posted below! Check that out!
The weather is getting better and the days are getting longer...its time to ride!
Get your bike in for any tuning it might need before you are out on the road or trail and have any issues to deal with that eat up valuable ride time!
Don't forget the Umpqua Velo Club meeting this Wednesday night!
Ride time is at 6...meet at RoundTable Pizza or show up for the meeting at 7-7:30pm
See you there!
Zach Winter has been doing well racing Cat 1 lately...well other than some sticky situations he has had to deal with....Best of luck to you Zach!
Tioga section on the North Umpqua Trail has been nice....We checked with both BLM and Forest Service about the seasonal closure(Nov.-May) that is posted for the trail...they both said that there is no closure even though it is posted at the trail head sign...Anyone else have more info regarding that?
Chad Ambrose left myself and Steve Husak behind as he ripped up the trail at warp speed last I rode with them. I made up for my slow climbing by blazing the downhill sections. Anyone up for weekly North Umpqua rides? Hit us up!
We put on a great BMX event at the Roseburg Skatepark on March 31st...It was well attended by more than 60 riders throughout the day...People from all over Oregon came by and had some fun... A handful of pro riders from up in the Portland area were down and showed off some good riding and a bunch of the Southern Oregon locals were on hand to show that they have some skills too!
Keep checking back for updates!
